How should I get my hair cut in a short style?

I want to get my hair cut short and I'm looking for suggestions of different short haircuts.

I'm getting mine cut short too but before you cut It my g-ma told me I should let it grow out a bit ( BEFORE school starts) and then cut it.. I'm getting mine kinda like Kate Gosslin but not spikey in the back or BayBay Bay from ';Charm School With Rikki Lake'; I hope this helps!!!
