I got a hair cut all the way back in March and it got cut kinda short. About 5 inches were cut off and my hair grew back of course but from where it was cut, a sort of dent formed there and then from there down, it's kinda curvy. Not really straight like the rest of my hair is but no where near wavy either. What happened? It's really annoying.I got a hair cut and there's kind of a curve where it was cut?
im not sure if im reading this right but you do realize your hair grows from your skelp, not the end of the strand, right?I got a hair cut and there's kind of a curve where it was cut?
It could be that the weight of your hair was keeping it straight and after you got it cut, it sprang back into place. Since hair is dead, and the style in which your hair grows is genetic (i.e. wavy, straight, curly etc), it is not possible (as far as I know) for a haircut to change the way your hair grows. Therefore your problem will most likely grow out, or you can just get it cut again, although obviously you might not want to if it's still too short. If you can't wait that long, straighteners, perming and hair spray/gel are all possible solutions.
My hair did that when I got it cut. I don't really know why, but think it is because the weight from longer hair was pulling out a little wave and making it straight, but when you cut it off, it just did what it does naturally. That or your stylist messed up. Try straightening it, and if that doesn't work go to your stylist.
