Does anyone elses parents force them to get their hair cut a certain way?

my parents are forcing me to get it cut because they dont like it, everyone else does...

Im 15 and a half and i have never liked my hair until now. Its only like to the top of my eyes and theyr the only ones who dont like it. Im not a bad kid and get good grades and do most of the house work. Im the reason we have clean clothes and dishes to eat off.Does anyone elses parents force them to get their hair cut a certain way?

Your parents have the painful job of trying to get you to understand that other adults judge you by your appearance..Everyone who looks at you judges you based on what they see. Is it fair? of course not but your parents want you to have every advantage in life they never did. So the bottom line is if you don't look clean cut a respectable you will find a lot of people who will have no respect for you. You know...like future employers.
My parents let me cut it the way i want to. why dont you tell them that you want to get it cut when you want to and you like it the way it is. try everything you can to not get it cut if you like it the way it is. good luck.
Can you comb it differently to keep it a way they find acceptable in front of them? Then wear it how you want when you leave the house... The good news is you only have a couple years left then you can have your hair whatever way you like.

well. my mom made me cut my hair last year because my bangs were too long. and she didnt like my layers...

Tell them to shut the f*ck up. It's your hair.
My parents especially my father wants me to cut my hair very short.He says that I look smart in short hair.
Tell them no, and see what they will try and do to you first.. if its horrible like grounding you then.. i guess youll have no choice... : (
