Is the aveda institute of hair design a good place to get a hair cut?

Tommorrow I am getting a cut and color at the aveda training salon. I have long brown hair, I hope to leave with a trimmed blonde hairdo. I was looking for any experiences people may have had there...good or bad!Is the aveda institute of hair design a good place to get a hair cut?
Although I've never had my hair done there, I do know they do a great job training the students. The students are also monitored by licensed cosmetologist.
