How long hasn't it taken for anyone out there to grow out a bob hair cut?

I've always had very long hair and recently cut it all off. I love love loved the bob for a while but I think I'm just a long haired girl at heart. I need to be able to put my hair up if need be and I just can't do that anymore. Has anyone out there been through this?How long hasn't it taken for anyone out there to grow out a bob hair cut?
