What is the best hair cut for very thin hair?

I have long hair like right under my nipple(sorry) but the problem is it's thin. It doesn't look that thin but when you hold it all together its like and inch wide. Having short hair isn't an option for me because I hate short hair and I don't look good with it. So what kind of hair style should I get?What is the best hair cut for very thin hair?
definitely get layers -- that will make your hair appear thicker and more full.

just let the stylist know how long you want the longest layer to be that way it won't get cut too short.

highlights would make your hair appear to have more depth too.

get all over layers. more towards your face so that it will frame your face then do a fringe in the front to give it a thicker appearance.

Just get a ton of layers to give yourself the appearance of thicker hair, and bangs could do you good.
i'd say a layered look.. gives you body and volume depending if your hair is straight, curly or wavy. BUT either way a layered look will be nice for thin hair.
lots and lots and lots of layers will give you a much fuller appearance.
Scene. If you want to go that major, but I love the style :)
