I know this is a rather involved question, but I really just have no idea what to do. I don't really like my hair in its natural curly state, but it refuses to stay straight (especially in the summer) so it's usually has a sloppy wavyness. And it's really thick, and has a tendency to stay flat on the top of my head, but poof as it goes out. I want a young, fresh look (I'm 20) so any help would be great! What's a good hair cut for someone with a heart-shaped face and thick, disobedient hair?
Here are some tips that you can use to fix your situation.
Since you have a heart shaped face which means that it is wide in the eye and cheekbone area.
If you want a long hair style, you should add long, wavy layers around your cheekbones that fall in the neck area and if you want a shorter hairs style, add top layers that are long and soft. Side-swept bangs are a great technique to lessen the width and height of the forehead area.
When you go to the hair salon, tell the stylist that you want a straight perm that lasts 4-6 months depending on how fast your hair grows. What's a good hair cut for someone with a heart-shaped face and thick, disobedient hair?
I cut my own hair and it is layered and really easy to keep under control. I get so many compliments and I'm always asked what salon I go to. I just:
1. Lean forward
2. Brush hair neatly (don't leave any out) into a pony tail at the front of my head, at the top and in the middle of my forehead
3. Hold hair firmly at the end of the pony tail and cut straight across.
4. Take out your hairband and flick hair back
5. Brush or style, it's that simple!
