I have had my puppies hair cut twice now; the first time at about 18 weeks and again at the weekend.
They are Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Toy Poodle crosses.
I don't think your puppy is ever too young to get a hair cut.
When I took mine to the groomers, they kept them there for about 3 hours so that they could do it slowly and let them play in between.When does a lhasa apso puppy get her first hair cut?
Why don't you talk to his breeder about what's best for his grooming routine?
