What is the best hair cut for thick wavy/curly hair?

hi i'm getting my hair cut tomorrow! at the moment its long and wavy/curly, the length has kinda dragged out the curls. i need to know whats the best hair cut. choppy layers? side bangs/fringe? shoulder length?

Mine is thick and wavy. I had it layered. The shortest layers sit on the back of my head just where the skull starts to go in. They then get longer and longer! The sides are shaped so the sides follow my jawline and gradually get longer going round to the back of my head! I have an off centre parting with a sloping fringe.

i have thick n wavy hair, i have a fringe thats like a full one but it runs into my hair....if u know what im getting at...and it has many layers, the best is to get a layer that finishes just at the bottom of ur skull and then the rest long ish .....just below shoulder length...then get it thinned and the longness creates the long, thin, sleek effect.....hope i was of service:D

Not too short and not too long, so about shoulder length... Layers would look SO good! But you could do without the bangs.
If you added side swept bangs it really looks nice. Its what I did to my thick wavy hair.
