How often to get your hair cut and highlighted?

I got my hair done 2 months ago and a little bit of my roots are showing and it bugs me soo bad. I don't have the money to go every 2 mnths to get my hair done. Maybe 3 months. How long does it normally take before you should get highlights again?? My roots are not too bad but do you guys think it looks trashy to have roots showing??How often to get your hair cut and highlighted?
Usually around every six weeks you will need a touch up and trim. Every other time you go you could skip the trim and just have your stylist do a touch up on your roots. This will keep your hair looking nice and will save you on cash. If that is still too much, maybe you should just get your hair colored back to your natural. bout a cpl months for trimming dead ends, but for hilights, when it shows a half inch is when it should be done.
I wait about 6 weeks and then I go and get my hair cut, but I used to have blonde highlights that I had to also get re-touched after 6 to 8 weeks. Sometimes if I'm going somewhere special, I'l have my hair cut again to make me look acceptable





Couldn't be bothered with dying it in the end, so I had it dyed back to my natural colour haha! lol

on the average you should get a hair cut every six to eight weeks. Touch up on your highlights should be about every three months. unless your over 50% gray your probably the only person that notices it. But getting a trim will keep the cuticle healthy.
