Is getting your hair cut to be thinned bad for your hair? Will it grow out eventually?

I have very thick hair, I was wondering is it bad to get it thinned out? Will it grow out eventually or no?Is getting your hair cut to be thinned bad for your hair? Will it grow out eventually?
Absolutely not!

Before, my hair used to be SUPER thick.

Like, I looked like an advertisement for ';Worst Hair in America';, or something.

I used to hide it and put it all up in a bun, but the bobby pins I stuck in it to keep it in place totally broke because my hair was so insanely thick.

I just got my hair thinned again and razored a few hours ago, and I saw the scissors they used-it wasn't bad. Yes, it will grow out eventually-the last time I got my hair thinned since today was like, in August and it was still nice and thin and manageable. Usually they last 2-3 months, but in my case it lasted like, almost 4 since I went to a professional so it depends on who you get it from.

Good luck!Is getting your hair cut to be thinned bad for your hair? Will it grow out eventually?
Not at all, I get my hair thinned every 2 months because my hair is insanely thick, but if your nervous about it, just ask your hair dresser for long layers and it's soooo much more managable. Thick hair is really difficult to maintain, trust me, I just chopped 11 inches off my hair and before it was so thick that I can barely put my hand around it in a ponytail! but now i donated it, but long layers are the best if your worried about thinning your hair, and yes, they do grow out. good luck!
It's not bad. And it can not damage your hair. Damage is done with heat or chemicals. Try razoring it and it will turn out great! And if you're afraid of thining it, get layers. It's just like getting it thined, but not getting it thined haha. And of course it will grow out. Hair always grows.
its not bad, it can damage ur hair, but i had it done and it felt really great for my hair and it soon grew out, it isnt bad. people think its bad because it is damaging ur hair, but it isnt at all.. unless u do it a lot.
uum... it's just a regular hair cut, so there's nothing to fear ^^;;.

only thing is the cutting tool used can make a difference. for instance, densely curly hair should not be cut with a razor because it frays/splits the ends of hair more than straight.

other than that it's just a hair cut, and the hair will grow back.
It's not bad, and it won't grow out if you do it too much.

Try not to heat style it if you're going to get it thinned.
its not bad for your hair if you get it done by a professional.

and yeah its will grow out, just like any hair.

thinning your hair doesn't just make the growing presses stop for some random reason.
Its not bad for hair, but there is a downside for getting it thinned out. After a while, your hair will grow back thicker. =/
