Is there a cheap way to fix my split ends without getting my hair cut?

And is there a way to prevent them? I blow-dry my hair and use a flat iron everyday, and I am not going to change that.Is there a cheap way to fix my split ends without getting my hair cut?
You really should trim your hair to get rid of the split ends- That's the only way to truly ';repair'; the hair. Otherwise the hair will keep splitting and you'll end up with really long splits. Most products that claim to ';heal'; split ends really just glue the ends together- Trust me the split ends WILL come back with a vengeance!

When you blow-dry, try not to use the hottest setting. It may be faster than the cool or warm setting but the heat dries out your hair and causes it to become brittle and more easily damaged. Same goes for the flat iron, many women use heat settings that are much hotter than what they actually need to get their hair straight.

Other tips: Don't brush your hair while it's wet

Try finding a shampoo that includes sunscreen as an ingredient

Always condition after shampooing, and use a deep conditioner at least once a month.

Good luck!Is there a cheap way to fix my split ends without getting my hair cut?
there is absolutely NO way to fix split ends, the only thing you can do is cut them off. and you should do it soon because they'll continue splitting all the way the hair until youll have to get it cut reallyyy short. Your only supposed to use heat to style your hair(curling iron, blow dryer, straightener) 2-3 times a week, so your doing it way too much. To prevent split ends, find something else to do with your hair, like getting mousse or a sea spray to make beachy waves in your hair so your not straightening it so much. And, when you do straighen it, use a heat protecting spray, and also use lots of conditioner especially on your ends.
you can mend split end temporarily.but it only lasts until you wash the product out of your hair. the best way ( you already know this) is to just get your hair trimmed every 2 months.once the split ends start they just get worse and worse if you dont cut them off.

the only way you can prevent the split ends is to stop heat styling everyday.you know you arent doing your hair any favors by blow drying and using a flat iron everyday.since you refuse to let up on frying your hair i suggest you get used to dry unhealthy hair because you dont have any intentions on taking any preventive measures.
Ok first off there is absolutely no way of curing them so if you want to actually want to get rid of them then the only way is to snip them.

HOWEVER....

You can make their appearance better. Using intensive conditioner and hot oil treatments every now and again will nourish your hair and make it smoother- this will limit further splitting and smooth down the existing split ends making the damage look less.
No. Split ends are like trying to put a ripped in two piece of paper together. You can stick them together(With glue or tape.), But it doesn't get rid of the Split ends, which also isn't recommended because Split ends do and will cause breakage...and heat protector doesn't protect it from Split ends....Heat Protector protects it from damage(Because Split ends aren't caused just by heat.).
You can snip them yourself, if you dare. Once they are split, there is no way to put them back together.

To prevent them, you can use a heat protector. I know Paul Mitchell makes one (I use it). Lots of brands do. Here:

Good luck!
No, once they're split, they're split. You can use a moisturizer or deep conditioner though to tame them. Start using a heat protectant. V05 is a good one.
I've been told that using hot oil treatments once a week will help with the frizzy split ends. I used it on mine %26amp; saw improvement.
Use a leave in conditioner. This should help mend the splitting..
conditioner helps
