What are the best places to get men's hair cut long?

I am having trouble finding the right place. Some places are no good. Others have skills, but won't listen and insist on cutting hair way too short.

It's really hard to say...because just like you said...some are good...some are bad. Is there an Empire beauty School in your area? I know when I went there..me and all the other students always tried our best to give the client what they wanted..we hadn't developed an ego problem like a lot of stylist acquire. Also getting a hair cut at a beauty school is usually a lot more inexpensive. Just make sure you make it very clear with the stylist what you want...and feel free to ask questions about what they are doing. Good luck to you!
Anywhere just tell them what you want and the'll be happy to do it. Aveda might be a good place to start. Hope that helps.
