Krush salon in Los Gatos! Their stylists are great and the atmosphere of the place is really relaxed. It's got great decor as well (the front desk is also a fish tank!) I recently got my medium-ish hair cut short there and it turned out really well. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with my hair. Oh, and I get mine cut by Laura. The other stylists are really talented as well, so I think you're pretty safe with anyone.
