How many times a year do you get your hair cut?

Is it true it grows faster if you do it with regularity? How many times a year do you get your hair cut?
NO. Your hair does not grow faster the more you cut it! That's ridiculous! What happens when you get regular trims it keeps the hair from splitting and breaking because it's not frayed. Your hair grows from your scalp... Take vitamins and use a good conditioner. You may also want a serum just to rub on the ends if it seems it';s breaking. I'm a hairstylist 16yrs. and I've never seen hair grow backwards! It' s funny how most ppl have that same conception about the more you trim the faster it grows... think about it! Actually it gets more frail because your scalp makes the oils that protect the hair shaft so the longer it is the more dry the ends get... thus making them fragile. Try the serum on the ends and good luck! BUT do start out your regimen eith a nice all around trim to get rid of the split ends or else it WILL continue to split up the shaft...How many times a year do you get your hair cut?
i cut it 4 times a year about to 5...usually i like don't care how they cut it...even if it turns up short...I'm not attached to my hair...i just ask them to have it be a good grow out just in case i want to change up the look if i grow it longer lol...i give them all the freedom just as long as the cut is well done basically...great cuts will grow out well...and no cutting it will cause ur grow out to be healthier looking because ur getting rid of the split ends and everytime u cut it ur getting rid of the oldest most damaged hair..lol...it wont make it gro faster at all...because like everyone said, ur only cutting the ends ur not doing n e thing else...heeping ur hair healthy will keep it growing well but not faster really at all...if u have severely damaged hair and u start to treat ur hair well and keep the damaging things u can do to a minimum, ur hair might grow slightly a tiny bit faster but it will be definately fuller looking and much better looking in general.
I don't think its true...it doesn't make any sence? Because your hair grows from the root, not the ends where you cut it.

But then again, your hair will split all the way up to the top and grow very slowly and unhealthily if you don't cut it often and take care of it..

So maybe it is true?

Anyways, I cut my hair every few months.
well, i really don`t believe if you cut your ';slipt ends'; it will make your hair grows faster; because the bottom of your hair is dead ....

but, i used to cut my hair every three/two months when i want a new style, but now, im gonna grow it long, :)
Not enough. I am ';hairly';thinning need a shave A shaving of my head. Doing what is necessary. I hear you've been trolled? I don't know what it is like but never been through the ringer before. You like my Itaian? no biggie. That stuff means close to nothimg
I USED TO CUT IT MYSELF EVERY DAY OR EVERY WEEK, THE CUTTING IT MAKES IT GROW FASTER THING IS FAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEE (I USED TO CUT IT A LOT BECAUSE I WAS ADDICTIVE TO CUTTING IT)
i don't know if it i scientifically true but i started cutting mine every three months instead of every six moths and i think it grew faster
yes it is true. i always go once evey two monthes to get the dead ends trimed.i think your suppose to go evey 6 weeks but who can afford that.
The last time I got mine cut was about 7 years ago except for a couple of trims now and then to take off the split ends.
4 to 6 weeks ... No it doesn't grow faster if you have it cut regularly .. that is a myth.
usually only once or twice a year...i wanna grow my hair longer so i may need to trim mine more often
every 6 weeks ish
