How old was your baby when they got their first hair cut?

Just curious how old your child was when they got their first hair cut, and please state if they are a boy or girl because I think that might make a difference.How old was your baby when they got their first hair cut?

Both of my kids are girls(don't know what gender the baby is that I am pregnant with right now)


My oldest daughter was seriously BALD until she was about a year old and then developed a chili bowl hair do,lol, but by the age of 3 she had enough hair to get it cut because she kinda looked like she had a mullet. She got a bob cut and her bangs cut around 3 yrs a 4 months old. My youngest daughter had alot of hair when she was born but it seemed to stop growing as fast as it was so she still doesn't need a hair cut yet,she is 1. My nephew needed a hair cut at 6 months because his hair grew so fast that a lot of people mistaked him for a girl(his hair was down to his shoulders)
I have a little boy, and his uncle is a barber. He said that when my little boy will get a haircut depends on the grade of his hair and how the hair grew. He said most barbers will not cut a baby's hair before they are one years old though, but it would ultimately be up to the barber.
I'm 27 weeks and will stall my son's cut as long as i can ... my hubby had curly curls as a baby but his mom cut it all off to completly bald at 6mo and now his hair is just blah like wavy straight ... my son will have a lil fro cuz hopefully he gets my curls %26amp; if anything just a shape up and trim... do baby boys get shape ups? huh new Q
My son got his first haircut around 15 months. I will always remember that day... We had went to breakfast and everyone kept commenting on my adorable little girl. I was SO ANGRY! We ran to his grandma's house and then I had a very handsome VERY OBVIOUS little man!
8 months, a girl- and born with a full head of hair, i probably could have got it cut at 2 days old
Most people I know its around 2, your not supposed to cut their hair before there 1.
My son is 18 months and im getting his cut on thursday. I have been putting it off for ages because im scared he will lose his beautiful curls, but he is starting to look like a little girl!

my son was 7 months old he was born with a head full of hair though
