yes dogs get embarrassed sometimes over their hair cut. Hard to believe, but i own a grooming company and many customers have reported there dogs embarrassment after a cut. You might try to put a shirt on the dog, but be prepared she might not give it back.Is my chow embarassed of her hair cut?
I believe 100% that they feel embarassment and other emotions. I trimmed my dogs fur, and he looked very proud after that (although to be honest, he has no reason to--I did a horrible job; it was my first time). When my mom used to trim our chow mix when I was a kid, he always look slightly humiliated.
yes, coated breeds are not suppose to be shaved down. the dogs do seem to get embarrassed when they lose their lovely hair :-)
Strangely enuff I believe dogs can get embarrassed.. My dog I had in the 90's we gave her a hair cut and it was awful the way we did it and let me tell you she was to embarrassed to go outside..lol
