my hair is medium brown to dark brown and it's about 4 inches past my shoulder and i want it dyed black and about 4 or 5 inches cut off

It depends on the area you live in. Where I live you would be charged around $18 for the hair cut %26amp; around $60-70 for the color. Make sure you tell them how much you want cut off, since it's a lot, they'll do a ';rough'; cut before the color so they don't have to use as much color. It depends what state and where you want to go to do that. In NYC, it'll cost about $100 to $300.
I got mine cut and colored a few weeks ago. It cost about $70. I would suggest asking for a student discount too :)
