Is it ok to pay US $ 210 to get you hair cut, colored, and conditioned?

I have a friend who is planning to do this, and I want to know if you think I should put her out of her misery!Is it ok to pay US $ 210 to get you hair cut, colored, and conditioned?
first time client- YES

we have to make a formula for her. we have no idea what we are about to be dealing with; time is money.

50=cut

20=condition with heat

130= color with hilites

not bad at all. especially if she has long hair or thick hair.

i would charge (for long or thick hair):

color=75

hilites=100

each extra color for hilites (2 extra colors to =3) =30x2=60

condition with heat=20

using a razor with cut =10-30

she just saved you at least 45!!!

much less expensive the next time, because all i have to do is tweek on the formula i already have. plus the fact that all the hilites don't have to be done each time and don't have to be done all the way thru the hair each time.Is it ok to pay US $ 210 to get you hair cut, colored, and conditioned?
If your friend is some kind of millionaire, let her. Paul Brown needs to eat too.
The most I've ever paid to do my hair is approx. $150US... I don't know why she would pay that much unless she's going to someone who knows exactly what they're doing!
I quess if you have money to burn or spare you can throw it away,give it away or pay an elevated, unreasonable price for a service people receive everyday at a fair and reasonable market price.
Well if you've got the money why not?
sure...if you let me do it..
Wow, that's a lot of money for just a cut, color and condition. I usually pay around $120 for all of that, and even THAT is kind of pricey. If she's got the money though, what's the big deal? It's hard to find a good stylist/colorist, so maybe she's found a great one and doesn't want to give him or her up. If it's going to cause her financial difficulties I'd probaly say something, but if not? Just smile and tell her her hair looks great.
from a hairstylists view:

i can only work so many hours in a week.

i can only do so many colors in a day.

because i get paid commission - i make my own paycheck.

if i want a raise or if i need to make more money the only thing i can do is raise my price.

the cost of living is going up for everyone.

i can only do so much. i am only one person. if i had a helper i would have to pay that person, too. would i be able to make enough money (get more clients in) to pay that person? would i be able to have time for each client doing this?

you typically get what you pay for.
i do all the time...why whats wrong with that?
it is a little on the pricey side compared to most places but..... it depends where she is doing this and if it is a high end salon.
No i go to cosmetology skool %26amp; i do my friends for free depending on my mood %26amp; what they want but i never charged over $50
no, dont think so,here is malaysia, you can get it done for RM200, (equivalent to US $ 33.33 approx)
It's expensive in in my opinion, but if she wants to do it it's her business...
It's OK, but why spend so much. She can get the same things done, just as well for a lot less money.
I guess it depends where you live. That is close to what my bill is for the same services (much to my husbands dismay). That is about average for our area in Virginia.
well, if she can afford it why not,but if not, then she definitely can do it for a better price and still look good .
depends if you're rich enough.
I guess if you got the money it's fine, if you don't have squandering money issues, sure.

I sometimes splurge and pay 40 instead of 10 for my haircut because I like some cute blonde massaging and shampooing my hair. But i'm cheap and skeezy like that.
No it isn't ok.
