I want a new hair cut that works with my hair's texture (very fine and a little wavy), my face shape (round), and is easy to style (minimal curling iron and blow dryer. Right now it is longer than my shoulders and it is very healthy, but I can't do anything with it. If I style it, it goes limp within a few short hours, so I always leave it in a barrette or pony tail. I think a short haircut would be better for me, but I've never had a short cut before and don't know what to get. Are there places where I can get advice on what would work best for my hair?

What length should I get my hair cut to?
My hair is at the middle of my back in length right now, and when it falls in front it makes my face look really small and weird, plus I have bangs. I'm trying to decide if I want to get rid of my bangs and go a little shorter or just get it shorter.
I don't want to look like a little girl or something, that's why I've kept it long. Maybe I could try to thin my bangs out..lol..

Just don't go emo and grow it out over your eyes.

definatly curl it. Curl some pieces in small tight curls and others in bigger looser curls. You may need someone to help you with this as your hair is so short. After the curling, spray some light hair spray, and run your fingers through it. It'll look great, and you can do it.

To make a sophisticated look try pulling up the front from your chin line to the crown and secure it there with clips...then put a nice decorative clip over the crown of your head that will
overlap and hide the clips used to hold up the longer pieces.
Let the back straight as you normally would. Try Sally's beauty supply for your decorative clip. Baby's breath is always a good way to go for a wedding.

I would stick with the supper duper skinny curling iron.
Style the back by seperating small sections of the hair and curling it under with the iron. I woluld then get some sort of pretty hair orniment, such as a few glitter clips, take a few strands of hair and pull them away from your face with them. Curl the front either with a few spirals or bob it under.
I used to have short hair and went through similar problems.
Tip: Make sure that you use a wide toothed comb after dousing your hair with hairspray in the back. It seperates the curls, making it look like it took forever to curl the tiny little sections.

My friend has hair like yours and for her banquit she had a simple silver pin. She took one side of the front (the thicer side), and swept it bak (not tight but so that it almost looped bak). It looked simple but lovely. Curling short hair can make you look very young so maybe not the best idea. Hope you have a good time , xxxx

My hair is always ultra manageable, soft, shiny and it takes the frizz right out and on top of that, you don't feel like you are using product. I have ultra thick, curly and frizzy hair and after using that product regularly, my hair isn't even as frizzy anymore. Another tip is that with curly hair you shouldn't twist it in a towel when drying it, just blot it. (I cut my own, the top layer needs to be whispy if you get extensions so they blend in really well) I've gotten clip ins for about $300, I can't remember where from, but then I got another set from hairhouse warehouse for about $200 and then I got a set from ebay for about $93, which is the best option, and the hair is REALLY nice and longer than the more expensive ones I've bought elsewhere. But it can be a bit hard to find a good set on ebay, make sure its thick hair, read the reviews people have left for the seller, and make sure theres about three rows, otherwise they will look thin and ratty and fake.

I wanted to get a short hair cut for the summer but didn't want to go to the extreme (shave my head or buzz). I've done both and ended up looking terrible. I heard about this one and I just wanted details.What exactly are the lengths for an ivy league hair cut?

I was cutting our sons hair at about 9 months old- just trimming it. I had to cut it for real at a year- I always cut it myself, its just easier and comes out like I want it to.
But honestly, we decided that we just like the look of longer hair- its really cute, even if once in a while some old hag ignores the blue ';daddy's little boy'; shirt and calls him a 'sweet little girl'.
Its honestly just up to you, whatever it seems like he needs.
My youngest son I waited until he was 15 months old to get his first haircut. It was almost down to his shoulders, and kind of wavy...but every times he got in his carseat, the back would get all matted.
The best bet for toddlers and preschooler boys is a buzz cut. My youngest has never had anything but a buzz cut. It takes like 5 minutes and it is really hard to mess up. My mother gave me the idea of having someone do something like blow bubbles to distract the child during the haircut.
My son had his first haircut shortly after his first birthday :) I had my sister-in-law (owns own salon) cut it in her kitchen- where he was familiar where he was. She cut his little baby boy hair, and i keep feeding him puffs.
Make sure he's in his own element... maybe get a friend to come do it in your kitchen and turn on some cartoons... or hire a stylist to come to your house.

Honest answer: The scene boy look only appeals to some people. Those people will find the haircut pretty and attractive, but the majority of the population will not.Does an emo hair cut make a guy prettier and different from guys tht have a normal haircut?
Ok totally truthful here i think emo haircuts look discusting out of 100 normal people probably 5 will think thats attractive so i do not reccomend a hair cut like that at all....with that hair u would look like a low life freek!!!! GOOD LUCK! HOPE IT HELPS!

short back and sides is usually better than a crewe cut, avoid jogging clothes unless you are ACTUALLY doing sports or exercise
its all in the clothes and attitude, being a chav is a complete way of life, not just a haircut
if you are a girl try a sleek bob - if you are a boy dont ALWAYS spike your hair up , leave it down sometimes

Just get a normal straight fringe, but make sure its not too short, and you should be able to blow dry it across to the side to to get a side fringe! This looks really good with layers and getting your hair shaped, so it degrades around your face.

i think you will regret it because of all the layering that will really make it thin and hard to manage. i used to work at a salon and my boss decided to cut her hair like that and it lasted for 3 days then she chopped it all off because she couldn't stand the way it made her hair feel and hated having to spend all morning on it. also to be honest, it kinda looks like a mullet in a way...which is never a good thing!Hair cut :|?

if it's all cut evenly across the ponytail will reach a bit below your shoulders but if it is layered, the ponytail will be shorter because the top is shorter and the bottom section halves in length (when u put it in a medium height ponytail).
stretch your hand so your fingers are spread as far apart as they will go. the ponytail will be as long as the distance from the tip of your pinky to the tip of your thumb. maybe a little bit longer. my hair falls 3 inches below my shoulder and thats about how long the ponytail is. hope i helped!

Ok, I have long hair (almost to my waist) with angles framing my face starting around my chin or so. I want to do something edgier, maybe harder angles starting higher up. My hairdresses said layers wont work- since my hair is 'fine' it would look really thin at the bottom if i did. And I want to keep my hair long. any suggestions or pictures of what im thinking of (i cant find them anywhere! and please dont bother sending a generic hairstyle site, i've looked, thanks) or suggestions would be great!

These are some pretty crazy ones I don't know if they are your taste..I like to play with the colors and do crazy things. I know they are shorter than your hair but im sure the hair dresser can make them fit your hair length. I couldn't really find anything else that stood out. I hope this helps. I really like the blonde one on the bottom and the dark hair with the teal and purple hightlights but i like the emo hair cuts... =] goodluck!

Use mousse and blow dry with your head straight down for the best effect. Touvh up bangs with hairspray if you want some fullness and lift for the bangs. Sorry could not find a picture...it is a cool cut though! Very different and modern looking.
