Something else you can do is get a straightening iron and straighten all your hair including your bangs. I have folliculitis on my scalp and I'm embarrased to get my hair cut?
This is really embarrasing for me to talk about. I have folliculitis--which is infected hair foliciles, mine happen to be on my scalp(looks like scabs). I REALLY want to get my hair cut but I am so embarrased to go. Last time I went the lady said something and I havent had my haircut for since then(1 year ago). If you have a chubby face, stay away from chin length hair. Either go shorter or longer. When it stops at your chin, it just makes your face look rounder (trust me, I have personal experience).

I wouldn't get it cut too short ( like shorter than shoulder lengh would not be good i dont think) ....i'd have it razor, shoulder lengh, and have it thinned a bit, that should take care of your problem.

My dog just got a hair cut, how do I stop him from scratching?
My dog got a hair cut some days ago, but he won't stop scratching himself. He won't play or do anything else. He tries to rub himself against furniture, floor, and carpets. He looks a bit sad too. Mostly, he lays down and all of a sudden he stands up and runs to the nearest thing and lays down again. I already gave him a bath but that didn't solve the problem. Any suggestions??? Another possibility, if his hair was very long, thick, and/or matted before, is that he feels funny without the hair, and with the air on his skin. Some dogs will rub themselves on the carpet etc, and irritate their skin making them even itchier. If there is a specific area that he's itching (like his bum) you might try a bit of OTC cortisone cream on the area. Or, again, an oatmeal bath may help soothe him.
EDIT: as with the ears, same thing. If he's used to having a lot of hair there, especially if it's matted, he feels funny with the lack of hair and the air getting in his ears. If there was a lot of hair that had to be plucked out of the ear canals, they might be irritated as well. If that doesn't stop you may need some drops from the vet.
Again, let the groomer know so that at the very least they can take steps to prevent this in future.
And if your dog's coat WAS in bad shape, don't let him get that bad again. It's very hard for a groomer to safely shave a dog when the coat is in bad shape without causing irritation.

My son Leon is four years old and has yet had his hair cut. He didn't start growing hair until he was about two and now he has beautiful shoulder length curly blonde hair. My son was 10 months old. The only reason we got it cut was because it was so long that it hung in his eyes. Learning to toddle is difficult enough without hair flopping in your face!
I waited until my son truly needed it done instead of going by a specific age. I always shake my head when a new parent cuts off the first bit of peach fuzz from her baby's head simply because she wants to rush to that particular milestone.
My son was born with tons of hair. If it were up to me I would have gotten it cut when he was 7 or 8 months. My fiancee is Puerto Rican though and in his family they don't cut kids' hair until they are at the very least one-year-old. I am counting the weeks until my son's first birthday because his hair is constantly in his face!

My son was 10 months old. The only reason we got it cut was because it was so long that it hung in his eyes. Learning to toddle is difficult enough without hair flopping in your face!
I waited until my son truly needed it done instead of going by a specific age. I always shake my head when a new parent cuts off the first bit of peach fuzz from her baby's head simply because she wants to rush to that particular milestone.
My son was born with tons of hair. If it were up to me I would have gotten it cut when he was 7 or 8 months. My fiancee is Puerto Rican though and in his family they don't cut kids' hair until they are at the very least one-year-old. I am counting the weeks until my son's first birthday because his hair is constantly in his face!

Has anybody heard of a long bobb? I want to get a different hair cut I've had my hair in layer for quite a few years. I want something different. So all together it wil end up costing you about 100+ dollars. At least. I suggest you die it yourself. Its way cheaper. Just my opinion.

So ask your friends where they go and try to go to someone why you know is good.

I just got my hair cut, and i dont really like my bangs. How can i grow them faster?
They are side swept bangs, but look pretty bad with my face shape. It makes me look kinda bad, and i want to grow my bangs completely out. What speeds the growth? I need two more inches so i can pin all of them back! Right now some pins back, but i guess they are angled bangs and it looks stupid if i try to pull it back now...grrr.I just got my hair cut, and i dont really like my bangs. Yeah. Their is no possible way to get rid of split ends. Products only stick them back together, But it's not recommended because it doesn't get rid of them, and because Split ends do, and will cause breakage(Which isn't good.).

Because we both wanted a real change, we went ahead and scheduled appointments with their ';Tier 1'; stylists and I can honestly say we not only came out looking gorgeous; but they gave us very detailed instructions on how to style our hair and offered to let us come back for further free help if we needed it. I have moved since to Wisconsin but plan to go back during my next California vacation.

I'd recommend taking him to a groomer with plenty of experience and who has their own shop. If you are looking to do the Bichon cut itself, it is a haircut you would want the right person to do.
I see a lot of puppies myself, and groom at a vet clinic. Many times they have to be sedated. But as long as you have been consistently brushing him, you shouldn't have a problem.

The Full Servise Groom package offers shampoo, massage and blowdry, hand brushing and loose hair removal,nail trimming, ear cleaning/plucking, and a bow or bandana, in addition to the haircut. The price for the haircut depends on the style,size, and breed of the dog.
I actually take my toy poodle to Petsmart, but I always book an appointment with the same groomer.

I got my hair cut almost a week ago and i really dont want to get it cut again ,but i have really bad split ends and i cant get rid of them. I stopped staightening my hair so i dont get why it is getting worse. When you have split ends, there is no product that can repair the hair. You can however, use products that will help you protect your hair and prevent future split ends.
Even though they can be a bit pricey, I think the best bet for you, is to use Redkin, or Paul Mitchell products. It's okay to straighten your hair, but before you do, make sure you use a hair serum. This will protect your hair from the heat and help prevent damage. Paul Mitchell skinny hair serum is great for this!
Right now since you want to hold off on getting your hair cut, get a deep conditioner. You don't necessarily have to get a expensive one, Garnier Fructis makes a good deep conditioner. If you don't want to buy one, olive oil works good to. When you're in the shower put the deep conditioner on (if you're using olive oil, heat it up for about 15sec in the microwave) and leave on for ten minutes. Do this about once a week and it will help a lot.
Also to prevent split ends, make sure you do keep up on trimming your hair, about every six weeks.How do i get rid of split ends after i just got a hair cut?
Deep conditioners give the hair elasticity and reduce the among of damage and split ends done to hair. A regular multivitamin and getting enough protein will make the new hair that grows in stronger.
I like the Garnier Fructis deep conditioner, but I really encourage you to get those split ends trimmed off. It should grow back at the rate of 1/2 inch per month (which is actually a lot). Because long hair only looks good if its shiny and smooth and not frizzy from split ends.
See, conditioners can only do so much. Eventually, the split ends will climb higher and you'll just have to get more trimmed off.
I think a good compromise would be to be extra nice to your hair for a month or two before you trim it. Deep condition weekly and don't use a flat iron or blow drier. Comb in with a wide-toothed comb. That way, the you'll have grown a half an inch to an inch before you get it trimmed and you hair won't be quite so short.
P.S.-- Look into getting a flat iron made with Tourmaline (which is even better than ceramic). I recommend the Solia or Sedu. Then use a product like CHI Silk Infusion when you flat iron or blow-dry. (Or look for other products that contain Dimethicone and Panthenol). This will greatly reduce (but not eliminate) the damage done by the flat iron and make your hair straighter and shinier.
I'm also a long-hair enthusiast and am about to ask a similar question myself!
I recommend Bedheads Ego boost. I spray it on my long blonde ( light colors usually are more prone to split ends) hair everyday (especially my roots) and i have no split ends what so ever! It really helps!
