How much of a tip do you give when you get your hair cut?

If a hair cut costs $12, how much do I give the peron who cut my hair? How much of a tip do you give when you get your hair cut?
if it's a good haircut, give 3-5 bucks %26amp;

if it's not so great 2 bucks! How much of a tip do you give when you get your hair cut?
I'd give $2
i give my hairdresser 2 or 3 bucks ....
In Argentina, my country, you'd give them just $12. A tip in these cases is not customary.

BTW, I get a very good haircut for only an equivalent of less than U$S 3. They're ripping you off!
a dollar.
When I go to the barber shop I pay eleven dollars for a haircut. I usually have my hair cut by the owner,so I don't tip him, but he does get a bottle of bourbon every year at Christmas and my wife will occasionally sends him some cookies%26lt;he has a sweet tooth%26gt;. If it's not the owner I give him fifteen dollars and tell him to keep the change.
Do u really give a tip for a hair cut..Boy that's the weirdest thing i've heard..tipping a waiter..yeah..I can understand.. But not my hair-dresser! LOL! I've never have nor will I ever! That's really absurd!
I've never had a hair cut that cheap, but I normally tip the stylist $5 unless she/he does something really bad to my hair.
2 dollar for good hair cut; 50 cents for bad hair cut
Aussies dont have a tipping culture. S'good.
i give from 12 to 15 dollars!
I tip like a restaurant (20%). So I would tip $2.40, and probably round up to $3.00 if paying in cash
I give $2.00 and my haircut always cost $12..but all they do is a 1 on the sides and 2 on the top...so nothing too hard
For a $12, I'd usually give 3 to the person who gave me the haircut and 2 to the person who did the shampoo. It might be a bit much, but I feel it's fair.
I normally give about $2 for a $12 haircut. Now if I have more done like a color, or highlights along with the cut, I normally give more. I normally never give more than $5.
Tipping is not a city in China or is a redneck past time (cow tipping, ha ha I crack myself up) Anyway.. I think that tipping is something that you should do when someone renders a service to you. Your waitress, your piercer, your tatto artist, your delivery man etc..I tip more then usual because I have had to live off tips, and so do most hairdressers! So if they do a good job I usually give them between 10-20 bucks...hey its all about the Karma!
Well a $12 hair cut is probally that SuperCut crap! Gitt a $24 hair cut and give $6 tip okay!?
I usually tip about 25%.

$5 on a $20 haircut.
probably around $5.00 but only if its a ood haircut if it isn't that great maybe 2.00 or 3.00
I think that the 15% guideline applies (in this case, that'd be $1.80), but more or less is certainly fair, based upon your satisfaction with the service.

I personally would tip two or three dollars, provided I was happy with the cut and that the stylist was nice. Those folks work hard for their money and rely a great deal on tips to help pay the bills.
If its an alright job give a $1 tip...

if it's really good give a $2 tip...

If it's really, really good.. then give a little more. $3-4.

consider the general accepted gratuity for any service is between 15-20% in north america. If you tip $3 for a $12 hair cut that a 25% tip. That's pretty damn good...
depends on the outcome. But normally 1/4 of the cost
actually i never gave tip coz my mom has a saloon yes i gave only Thank you..u can give 2 to 3 bucks or 5 bucks ur wish...
$1-$5 depending on how much I like the hair style/cut
well, it really depends on the kind of place where you get your hair cut.

If you know anyone else who has gone there longer, ask them about how much they give so you'll be in the right range.

But for now I'd say around 20%.

(If you go to the kind of place that has seperate people doing washing/coloring, that kind of thing, I might hand them a buck or two as well)
2-3 dollars
