What kind of hair cut should an asian get to not look so typical?

all asian guys have spikey hair something. what can i do to be different. be serious now. What kind of hair cut should an asian get to not look so typical?
Seriously, look at some older 70's and 60's movies with asian guys in them. I am thinking Bruce Lee and the like. You know the fighting type movies.

To get a look that is a little different and not punky, a modified mullet can be good on an asian guy. Think Jackie Chan. Sort of a pageboyish mullet, not too long in the back or short in the front. It's hard to explain.

Just don't go emo and grow it out over your eyes.

EDIT

April joy said it how i wanted to say it.

Also lose the 'stache it makes you look like Cheech and Chong all rolled up into one.

Thanks for picking me! There were some good answers there, I feel privileged to be the one.

Give yourself (or rather let your stylist do it :) some fringe and overdirect your sides towards your face to frame it.
Grow it a little longer and get a perm. I LOVE curly hair on Asian guys. I saw this in one of the movies, too, and oh, that guy is so HOT.
Try a skullet.
Uhhh, don't spike your hair?
dont get a buzz, mabey grow it out (not really long just like face length) short spiky hair looks good on asians though
let your hair grow some more lenght and try different hair directions with the aid of gels. scan on GQ mags. you'l b molata, then mexican next day, then brazilian, then indonesian next week.
