What is a good medium length hair cut for guys wavy hair?

I need a new hair style nothing special. just a wash and wear hair cut for guys. short to medium length. I have a roundish face and my hair is really frizzy wavy and gets kinda poofy so? tips? products? hair cuts? Pics would be great.What is a good medium length hair cut for guys wavy hair?

Frizziness might be a slight problem with a regular taper cut but not with any of the short pomp styles-crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut. Poofiness is actually an asset with the short pomp styles. Any of these will work with a roundish face. The sides are kept close and the face is lengthened by having the hair completely or mostly off the forehead. A little height at the front hairline or on top also breaks up the round look and emphasizes the vertical.

Some barbers describe an ivy league as a crew cut just long enough to be parted and combed to the side, if so desired. Grooming any of the short pomp styles- crew cut, ivy league, flat top crew cut- is basically the same and takes about a minute or two.


1) Towel dry hair.


2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.


3)Transfer wax to palms.


4) Smooth palms over hair.


5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.
